Quality Statement
The Shingler Group is committed to providing consistently high quality construction and homes projects which meet and exceed customer's specified contractual requirements.
To do this effectively we believe our Quality Management System (QMS) will ensure controlled work, compliance to standards, and appropriate communication across all levels as well as accountable records maintenance for all work undertaken. This is reinforced by management commitment to continuous improvement via measurement and feedback processes which aim to improve customer satisfaction.
The QMS we have adopted is in accordance with ISO9001:2008 requirements including: an integrated Business Management Manual, procedures, process flows and work instructions. This formalised system allies with staff training, skills, competences and measurable objectives at corporate, departmental and personal levels to ensure a high quality deliverable.
The Shingler Group's business strategy and plans are based on analysis of measurable data from which objectives are drawn to improve business performance. Corporate Quality objectives are:
- Effective data capture, analysis and measurement
- Developing a rigorous customer feedback system
- Planning and implementing effective training in line with business needs
Our management team holds periodic reviews of systems and processes to reflect changes in operational practice, regulations, organisational structure and progress on objectives.
All employees understand the need for active promotion of quality practices, adherence to procedures and familiarity with the business manual. Staff are supported in their learning and personal development.
The Managing Directors nominated representative for our QMS implementation and maintenance is known as the 'Quality Management Representative (QMR)' with dedicated support from company directors.
