This stunning project was built and designed in partnership with Base Architects for a private client. Completed in 2017, Lakeside Lodge was constructed using local products, a request of the client, with a timber frame structure. It featured Grinshill stone steps down to a private lake, with seamless level threshold sliding doors to the south and west, providing plenty of light and space.
The project took 6 months to compete, with emphasis on detail at every aspect of the build. The high-quality wall and ceiling cladding with unique feature-spacing elements demonstrates Shingler Construction’s attention to detail, and the result was a beautiful bespoke design.
We additionally worked in partnership with James Roberts Interiors, who designed the internal architecture of Lakeside Lodge.
