Jeremy Shingler

Managing Director

Jeremy Shingler, along with his father Keith Shingler, is the founding Director of both Shingler Construction and Shingler Homes.  Jeremy is the Managing Director of both companies.

He has over 20 years experience in the construction industry and 5 years experience in engineering and quality control systems.   He has an HNC in mechanical engineering, in addition to a Level 7 NVQ in Construction Senior Management.

During his career, Jeremy has developed an in depth knowledge of all aspects of construction and project management from conception to completion and, along with his management team, has developed the structure, procedures and techniques required to successfully deliver all types of construction projects.

Jeremy is committed to further developing Shingler Construction and Shingler Homes into a market leading contractor and new home builder with a reputation for quality, reliability and exceeding client’s expectations.

Keith Shingler

Director

Keith is a director and joint shareholder of Shingler Construction and Shingler Homes.

Keith has well over 30 years of experience in construction starting in civil engineering and groundworks, working his way up to site agent running groundwork operations on residential sites of anything up to 100 dwellings. For the past 25 years Keith has been running his own house building businesses, and for the past 18 years has been running Shingler Homes with Jeremy.

Keith is passionate about all aspects of construction and continues to keep his “hands on” approach by regularly helping out on site driving his beloved machinery!

Jonathan Shingler

Construction Director

Jonathan is the Construction Director of both Shingler Homes and Shingler Construction.  He has over 20 years’ experience in the industry and is responsible for the successful on-site delivery of all our building projects from day-to-day site management, health & safety to ensuring compliance with technical and quality standards.

Adam Turnell

Architect and Landscape Architect

Adam is a Charted Architect and Landscape Architect and joins the Shingler Group following 4 years of working for a local Architectural Practice across both residential and commercial projects. Prior to this Adam has works in both the public and private sector on schemes ranging from bespoke new build homes to school campus design and large scale student accommodation schemes. This experience enables projects to be delivered and developed through all work stages with a detailed understanding of local planning policy and national building regulation requirements.

As a dual chartered Architect and Landscape Architect, Adam is able to provide a holistic design approach to any scheme and considered how the proposal will sit within both its immediate and wider setting.

Richard McEvilly

Head of Land & Planning

Richard is our Head of Land & Planning and is responsible for sourcing and acquiring suitable development land for Shingler Homes. As well as dealing with our land acquisition matters and overseeing all legal and planning processes, Richard is also responsible for developing a strategic land bank to ensure the company has a healthy supply of quality housing land for the future.

Richard has spent nearly 20 years in the land and property sector, 10 of which in Central London, and is a multi-disciplined Chartered Surveyor with experience ranging from construction, residential agency, estate management, commercial property, agricultural land management, affordable housing, building surveying and land acquisition.

 

Hayley Cadwallader

Sales and Marketing Manager

Hayley is the Sales and Marketing Manager at Shingler Homes and Shingler Construction, responsible for looking after new home buyers – assisting them throughout the buying process as well as supporting newly moved in homeowners, providing the highest level of support. Hayley also manages all elements of marketing for Shingler Homes, as well as managing all residential construction projects for Shingler Construction. Hayley previously worked for a national housebuilder, assisting in setting up its processes and procedures.

Holly Tarbuck

Sales & Marketing Assistant

Holly started with Shingler Group in 2020 as a Business Administration Apprentice, where she explored all aspects of the company. At the end of the apprenticeship, she found a keen interest in marketing and has since undertaken another qualification to support this.

Holly now looks after the digital marketing for the business, as well as company charity relations.

Catherine Coppinger

Sales Progressor

 Catherine joined Shingler Group in 2018 after extensive experience in the housing sector, including running estate agency offices in Cheshire for ten years. She is responsible for managing the progress and conclusion of sales contracts for Shingler Homes as well as providing support to both our customers and internal sales team.

Donna Kimberley

Sales Negotiator

Donna has many years experience in different areas of the property industry, with her passion being quality new build sales. Donna puts the customer at the heart of everything she does, taking the time to understand the true needs and requirements of every customer, being on hand to help our clients through every stage of the sales process.

Donna will help you make the choice of interior fixtures and fittings, that will turn our house into your home.

Garry Lacey

Company Accountant

Garry is responsible for looking after the finance, H.R. and I.T. for the group and reports directly to the company directors.

Natalie Deacon

Accounts Assistant

Natalie has worked in finance administration for over 7 years, with her previous experience being in architectural and distribution industries. She now assists with managing accounts preparation, payroll, and general financial responsibilities.

Matthew Cadwallader

Quality and Aftercare Manager

Matt is Shingler Group’s Construction Quality Control Manager, who looks after the Aftercare for the business. He is passionate about customer service and ensuring our properties are built to a high standard.

Matt has worked in the construction industry for 32 years, starting out as an apprentice bricklayer then working his way up to site manager at 24. He has previously worked for Tilia Homes, David Wilson Homes and The Extra-care Charitable Trust, where he built the largest ever retirement building in Europe.

Joy Evans

Quality and Aftercare Administrator

Along with the smooth running of reception, switchboard and admin duties, Joy also works very closely with our Quality & Aftercare Manager ensuring our new homeowners receive a prompt and efficient service.

Keith Sudlow

Contracts Manager

Keith has responsibility for the company’s site management teams and the delivery of all projects to deadlines and budgets.

Owain Lloyd

Contracts Manager

Owain is one of our Contracts Managers and has responsibility for the company’s site management teams and the delivery of all projects to deadlines and budgets. He has 20 years experience in the construction industry, beginning his career as a Joiner/Carpenter. Owain’s career progressed into management with 6 years experience working in Central London as a Site Manager, prior to joining the Shingler team.

Owain has a breadth of experience, including commercial, high end residential, public sector, private and bespoke, and brings this experience and knowledge to his role as a Contracts Manager with Shingler Group.

Martin Highfield

Quantity Surveyor

Working for Shingler Group since 2008, Martin manages complete cost and budget control over our live construction projects.

Martin’s role includes estimating for new projects, quantity surveying and the management of our Apprenticeship programme.

He brings experience in construction, ISO quality management systems, as well as a skill set for commercial and SAP new build EPC surveys.

Ash Adams

Technical Manager

Ash is responsible for organising and overseeing the technical elements of our projects. This includes the procurement and continuous management of Warranties and Building Control, Utilities, Road and Sewer Bonds, Technical Surveys and the preparation of site legal packs. It is also Ash’s responsibility to ensure all adoption agreements are in place prior to works commencing on site and that all developments are adopted once works have finished.

Ash also assists within the commercial department with budget estimates, development appraisals and tenders.

Paul Tunnah

Site Manager

Paul is one of our site managers, who ensures the smooth running of the development and makes sure homeowners are delighted with their new homes. He is currently the site manager at Kings Acre, Four Crosses
